Ministerial Excellence Fund

MEF applications are being accepted April 1 - April 30.

 

The Ministerial Excellence Fund was established by the CME Church to help alleviate financial challenges that Pastoral leaders face while devoted to ministry.  The funds come from the Lilly Foundation grant and funds committed by the CME Church.  A small team of retired CME preachers will review the submissions under the leadership of Bishop Sylvester Williams, Sr.  The confidential application process will open after the last live class. Please check the module labeled Application for updates.

 

The application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Before you begin, please have all relevant documents saved to your desktop or available to upload in a PDF format. You will not be able to save the application and return to your application. You must complete the application in one setting. If you have questions, please email [email protected] or read over the FAQ prior to starting your application.

 

Eligibility for application shall include you must be a CME Clergy in Full connection, have attended all 8 BMM Live classes, and receive the approval of your Presiding Prelate.

 

Relevant documents or debt notice must be dated within 30 days of application. The document should be a statement from the institution (student loan company, mortgage servicer, medical facility, etc.) and should be saved and uploaded in a PDF format.
